Mbezi Beach Project
Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
Developers:- Binfijaa Group.

New residential development in Dar-es-salaam is gradually shifting from the city center areas towards the North and South of the city along the seafront. There is also a trend were professional groups in the multimedia and trading industry are able to combine residential and work areas in one building.

The Mbezi beach project was intended for this purpose. A.Jivanjee Architects were commissioned by the Bin Fijaa Group to design and detail this project. The project comprises of 11 houses, connected by road from the main entrance and by garden footpath internally.

These houses can have dual options, in which a family can use it as a house, or a multi media group can use the ground floor as offices and the upper floors as residence. The buildings are finished in textured plaster with hardwood window and door frames as well as hardwood handrails.

Each bungalow has an independent access for cars from the main gate and and private access from the bungalow into the garden areas and to the swimming pool area and out to the beach.

A.Jivanjee Architects worked closely with the Bin Fijaa group to achieve an ideal and correct detailing of the project to achieve maximum economy and maximum aesthetic appeal.
